An essential element of the provision of legal services is transparency especially as to how fees are calculated and charged.
You have the flexibility of taking legal services as and when you need them. Before any legal services are provided we will agree as to how fees are to be calculated and charged. Wherever possible you will be given a breakdown of the legal fees which will show what work was done and when. We will also agree on disbursements i.e. any payments that will be made on your behalf. Disbursements will not be incurred without your prior approval.
The usual method of calculating fees is on a time spent basis at an agreed hourly rate. Other fee calculation methods can be considered based on your needs for example we could agree a fixed fee for specific legal work against a given set of assumptions.
